River Rest is located in Silver Star Montana and is the ideal location for your exploration of Southwest Montana. The cabins sit high
on the west bank of the beautiful Jefferson River.
There are three nicely appointed cabins to choose from: The Big Hole, The Beaverhead, and The Ruby.
Experience one of the best views of the Jefferson Valley. The cabins sit between 2 majestic Montana mountain ranges, the Tobacco Roots and the Highlands. The cabins overlook the Jefferson River and offer amazing views of the river and Jefferson Valley. The cabins all have 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a kitchen, a very comfortable living room with a fireplace, and all the amenities of the home including Wi-fi. Come home after a day out and sit on the porch, enjoying the magnificent views by day and the stars at night.
The Silver Star Fishing Access is within walking distance and anglers also have private access to the river. The Jefferson is known for its trophy brown and rainbow trout. Other awesome “BLUE RIBBON” rivers in the area include the Big Hole, Beaverhead, Madison, and Ruby Rivers along with numerous mountain lakes. Wildlife is as you would expect here in Montana; deer, antelope, elk, moose, eagles, sand cranes, osprey, mountain bluebirds, and much more!
Other outdoor activities are plentiful and include fishing, biking, hiking, golfing, dirt biking, off roading, hunting, trap shooting, long-range rifle course, skiing, and horseback riding.
